The publication of the International Guide ISO 26000 on Social Responsibility has a decisive impact on society and, in particular, on the way in which organizations relate to their stakeholders. ISO 26000 is a valuable guide that describes in detail the basic principles on which the social responsibility of all organizations must be based.

However, this standard does not contain provisions for determining minimum requirements for the practical implementation of social responsibility principles and cannot be certified by organizations that are willing to demonstrate compliance with these principles. Organizations need models to support them in integrating the recommendations, guidelines and principles of ISO 26000 into their daily business.

SR 10 is an international standard, developed by the IQNet association and its members. It aims to integrate social responsibility management into the corporate strategy of organizations and to communicate the results achieved through certification.

The standard is intended to help any organization meet its expectations, large and SMEs, public and private, and from all sectors; both for companies that are starting to implement their corporate social responsibility strategy, and for those who are already there and now need to integrate the actions they have worked on into their daily operations. How do I get certified?

The certification process according to SR 10 includes:

  • the request for quotation
  • acceptance of the offer
  • carrying out a pre-assessment audit (optional)
  • carrying out a Certification audit (divided into two stages)
  • the management of any deficiencies found
  • the certification resolution
  • maintenance checks with annual frequency
